Athletics 01 Girls at the Somerset
Combined Events
The warm sunny weather has allowed all age Championships
groups to have a full season of athletics. The 02 Sprint start training
senior girls team made it all the way to the English 03 Lowri S, National Prep
School 100m Champion
Schools Cup Final where they raced the fastest 04 Boys at the Somerset
school children in the country. We took over Combined Events
100 athletes to the South West Prep Schools Championships
05 English Schools Cup Team
Championships and nearly 50 qualified for the 06 Somerset Championships
finals. Lowri S was crowed national champion 07 Inter House Athletics at
Millfield
in the 100m. Kiki F and Tabby W also made the
podium in their events. We had county schools
champions, Somerset champions in the individual
and combined events. Junior athletics is where the
future starts. Our clubs and inter schools events
have a high number of pupils starting their athletic 07
journeys. The future looks bright.
