Dance and drama students celebrated Millfield’s
90th anniversary with a series of collaborative
performances throughout the weekend. At the 90
years of Brilliance, ‘Music and Motion’ featured
choreography to one Oscar winning song per
decade from 1935-2025, sung by Upper Sixth Ava
and Sienna, with solo performances by Carolyn,
Year 11 Alice, Lower Sixth Penny and Amelie.
            ‘Memories’, presented at Summer Celebration,
explored the origins and legacy of Millfield,
integrating script, true stories and the voices of
students past and present, accompanied by Year
9 Hannah on piano and featuring dancers from
all year groups on stage. The event was topped off
with an original arrangement of the 1935 musical 01
