Johnson Sessions
Millfield’s contemporary music scene continues
to flourish thanks to the Johnson Sessions, vibrant
performance evenings held twice each term. These
popular events feature a mix of soloists and bands
performing an eclectic range of music, including
original songs written by students. The sessions
offer a platform for creativity, allowing students to
express themselves musically in a supportive and
informal setting. Whether performing covers or
debuting original material, participants contribute
to a dynamic and inclusive atmosphere. The
Johnson Sessions remain a highlight of the school’s
musical calendar and a celebration of the talent
within Millfield’s contemporary music community.
