For a handful of the Upper Sixth the summer
term 2025 represents the end of sixteen years
at Millfield (Prep and Senior). For the majority
it brings to a close two, four or five of the most
important and formative years of their lives.
When the journey at Millfield ends, it brings with
it a range of emotions. Readiness for the next
step and greater independence, anticipation and
perhaps a little trepidation about what comes
next. I have no doubt, a reflective gratitude for the
experiences and friendships they shared in their
time at Millfield and that their journey, however
long or short, has been a truly transformational
one.
Keep making memories and stay connected to the
school, but most importantly, one another.
