A Patriot’s view of the history and direction of our Country

challenged (usually referring ONLY to the Second Amendment); and

                   2) They are natural rights not granted by the government and are
irrevocable. This treatise is not about zero tolerance or black and

white (yes, you guessed it – more on those topics later). It is about
awareness of our rights, our history and determining our future. Are

you a person that believes the suspension of our individual rights is
acceptable if it is for the common good? What is the common

good? If every person has their rights suspended, such as that of
suspending habeas corpus and martial law, because the common

good would ‘be best served’ – how is that for the common good? It
can only be fallacious. It should also be noted – and importantly –

that this amendment applies to times of peace. Martial law and
                   suspension of habeas corpus only apply to non-peaceful times;

therefore this amendment would not apply.
I submit that the threat to this amendment is the abused power

of presidential executive order, and the protection lies in the Second
Amendment, as well as Fourth through Eighth. If this amendment

falls, I further submit that these same subsequent amendments
would also. The presence of soldiers in your home not only violates

the Third Amendment, but in some form will have the propensity to
violate or infringe upon all of the Bill of Rights.
