Citizens, Residents and Immigration
Rights and Privileges, Legal and Illegal Occupation
This is the only substantially divisive ‘hot topic’ addressed in this
work. Many consider it a social issue; however, I consider this an
issue of personal, state and national security. The solutions are
simple – but like all proposals I make in this work, the action to
enact the solutions are not. First, we need to understand some of
my important definitions. These are not to infringe on any rights,
while protecting the rights and privileges of citizens and special
privileges of legal immigrants.
Citizen – any person who is born of United States citizenship
or is otherwise granted naturalized citizenship. This may
include born in the United States to parents of which one or
both are citizens and/or both are legal immigrant residents,
or born in a foreign country to at least one parent citizen, or
born on any United States military post or installation in a
foreign country;
Resident – any person who resides in any of the several
states, either legally (immigration visa) or illegally (illegally
entered the United States), or was born in the United States
and both parents are not citizens. Identity and citizenship of
both parents must be proven and documented to claim
citizenship by birth;
o Legal Immigrant Resident – a person of foreign birth
that enters the United States legally with the ability to
be a productive member of society and not a burden on
taxpayers.
