Books available from Associates in Forensic Investigations
Together Dean and Karen have written three books specifically for legal investigators - from the basics for all
investigations, to the protocols of legal investigations, and the specialized area of death and serious bodily injury
investigations. These are intended for legal investigators offering services in all areas of civil and criminal litigation.

Visit www.PrivateInvestigations.org for book details and ordering your personalized copy direct from our agency.

Be sure and ask about free access to over three dozen articles also for legal investigators!

        Tidbits From Our Profession
The in-person conferences for 2021 are uncertain. We will share as we learn.

Upcoming 2022 Conferences and Distance Learning Resources
The 2021 conferences are finished – for many it was their first in-person event since
2019, others had hybrid in-person and remote, and others faced circumstances
requiring only remote. What does your association have planned for 2022? If your
association or agency is hosting a training conference, let us know and we will share it here. Please include topic, dates,
fees, and if restricted to members or open.

Our networking and training does not end when conferences end – they continue through our daily experiences and
        continued opportunities.

We are also sharing reciprocating association distance learning training pages at our own site -
www.InvestigativeCourses.com. This is at no cost to the association. For details, please contact our agency –
associates@InvestigativeCourses.com and we will discuss our program to benefit your association and members!

NCISS – National and State Associations Working Together
NCISS, working with state associations, is asking for help with the
        following:
            • Who has a state DMV / Data / Privacy bill?
            • Do you think it will pass or does it have enough support?
            • How can NCISS and other associations assist?

NCISS continues to work with associations to monitor the aggressive
nature of state legislatures and agencies restricting lawful access to
these important records and information for the public health and
        safety work by private investigators.
