Former CEO and Founder of Trustify Sentenced for $18 Million Investment Fraud Scheme

Daniel Boice founded Trustify in March 2015 as a start-up company which connected customers with private
investigators [including unvetted and/or unlicensed]. He was sentenced to over eight years in prison for conducting a
fraudulent scheme of the company’s collapse and over $18 million in losses to investors and unpaid investigators.

Our agency and profession was first alerted by Ron Rugen (Missouri) in June 2015. Immediately this was seen as the
scam and danger to the public and professional investigators it was proven to be. Our agency posted commentary on this
in August 2015 at www.DeathCaseReview.com/afi-llc-newsletters/death-of-a-flim-flam-afi-llc-newsletter-august-2019
and continued warning and following its demise. State associations, the National Council of Investigation & Security
Services (NCISS) and National Association of Legal Investigators (NALI) all worked together with volunteer members to
put pressure on state Attorneys General and the federal Department of Justice to end Trustify’s illegal activity. It was
after the founding of Trustify privacy advocates started – and still do – publicizing PIs are all bad actors, and included
why Boice founded Trustify (actually Flim Flam) to fix a bad profession. We all know the facts and truth.
