TOBACCO TYING CONTEST
The public is invited to help tie the tobacco into hands that has been cured in
the old log tobacco barn at the Sanford Lions Club Fairgrounds during fair

week on Saturday, September 15 , 2018. The Tobacco Tying Contest is
sponsored by FCI and hosted by Central Carolina Antique Power &
Equipment Club (C-Cape).

TRACTOR PULL
An antique tractor pull will be a crowd pleaser on Saturday this year at the
Lee Regional Fair. Also known as power pulling, this motorsport competition
requires modify tractors to pull heavy modified tractors to pull a heavy sled
along a 25-foot-wide, 200-foot-long track, with the winner being the tractor
that pulls the sled the farthest.

Carolina Antique Tractor Pullers Association (CATPA) will host and local
participation is encouraged. CATPA is a small antique tractor pulling
organization located in Eastern North Carolina. To enter contact Brad
