AV System Design Phases Services for- Our Project Channel Associate
Systems Design – Phases & How it works
Initial Proposal
After discussing the proposed project with the design , associate partner and client team, we will prepare a proposal to outline
the scope of project and the scope of work for Phase I: Design Development.
Phase One – Design Development
Purpose: Define type of audio video systems, functional requirements and to estimate cost of the project.
1. SSBIPL (SSB INFOSYSTEMS PRIVATE LIMITED) Projects will review the Audio Video Facilities Planning Checklist with the
different user groups to recommend and define the audio video systems and their functional requirements.
2. Locate audio video equipment for different room configurations
3. Develop the room's architecture with the Client's design team
4. Calculate Display or projection optics & display sizes appropriate to the room and application.
5. Analyse display or front or rear projection requirements
6. Configure lectern requirements if any.
7. Present a written Design Development Report containing
i. Functional requirements per system
ii. Equipment location
iii. Estimate project cost of:
iv. Equipment per system
v. Installation/training
vi. Design completion
vii. Project schedule
viii. Review with Client the balance of system function, quality and budget.
Client adjusts scope of project, scope of work and approves proceeding to Phase 2 - Design and Construction Documents
Phase 2 – Design and Construction Documents
Purpose: Evolve the audio video design for the Architects preparation and issuance of construction documents.
1. Help balance function, quality and cost of audio video system(s) with the Client
2. Review acoustical, lighting and mechanical plans
3. Complete detail of projection screen locations and LCD/Plasma display locations
4. Initiate engineering per audio video system
