Understanding the Cause of Chronic Disease
As we go through these, see if you can relate to
what is going on and if you can identify what stage
you are in if you currently suffering from a medical
condition.
Before we explain each stage, you need to
understand that the body is consistently exposed to
things that can damage it. Anything that can
damage the body's functions we will call a “toxin”
for simplicity's sake. These “toxins” include
viruses, bacteria, fungi, noxious chemicals in the
air, preservatives, dyes, hormones and pesticides in
food, chemicals from the many products we use at
home and work and many of our current
medications just to name a few. They also include
the waste products produced by your own cells.
The body has effective mechanisms for both
protecting your cells and cleaning these toxins out
of the body to keep you healthy. However, these
mechanisms have limits on how well they can
protect your cells and how efficiently and
effectively they can clear the toxins from the body.
