            To best fight off the bear you need to be angry or
            aggressive. To best flee from the bear, you need to
            be afraid.  These emotions help the body to have a
            stronger SNS response and release more
            adrenaline. This increases your probability of
            surviving.
            Insomnia
            As disruptive and unpleasant as the immediate
            effects of stress/anxiety/panic attacks can be in the
            present, their long term effects can be even more
            devastating. As anyone who has gone through a
            stressful time in their life can attest, stress and a
            good night's sleep do not go together.  Insomnia is
            one of the cardinal signs that you are spending too
            much time in an SNS state.
