The Environment of your Cells
Your body is made up of tissues and tissues are made
up of cells. Your health and well being are determined
by how healthy your cells are. Cells, like people,
prosper when they are in a healthy, positive
environment. Placed in an unhealthy or toxic
environment, cells become stressed, damaged and can
begin to malfunction. They can even become cancerous.
The environment which surrounds the cells is called
the extracellular matrix. Think of the extracellular
matrix as a fibrous meshwork which surrounds the cells
and tries to provide them with the healthiest
environment possible.
