    Stratified random sampling pools sample results drawn from each category in a classification

    system. The size of the samples is based on the size of the stratum relative to the population.

    Sampling error -difference between a sample statistic (the mean, variance, or SD) and its
    corresponding (true) population parameter, i.e.= sample mean – population mean = x – µ
