Strategic Analysis
• Strategic analysis must be done in the context of
the external and the internal environment in
which the company operates.
• This can be assessed by undertaking a SWOT
analysis:
• Identify Strengths and Weaknesses of the company
(internal environment) and identify strategies to build
on strengths and reduce or remove weaknesses.
• Exploit Opportunities and Threats that exist in the
external environment.
