Introduction to Business (BUS101)
Course Description: This course provides opportunities to learn and experience a variety of topics in
the field of business. Students are exposed to various economies, their roles in our economy,
entrepreneurship, marketing, managing financial and technological resources, and current issues in
the global economy. Course activities involve students in writing, investigating, problem-solving,
demonstrating, and reporting.
Pre-Requisite: None

Introduction to Computer Applications (BUS201)
Course Description: This course is a project based course that emphasizes the use of technical
reading skills to help students become proficient at using word processing, database, spreadsheet,
charting, and graphics software. You will integrate a variety of files and create your own files by
gathering information from various sources. Students may develop their own projects or use a
simulated project as part of this course.
