Rabbi Chanina Elchanan Chai Cohen (1751-1834) was the rabbi of Florence. Many of his students served as rabbis throughout Italy. He published and printed works of poetry, language, edu- cation, Bible and more, including: Chanoch L׳Na׳ar, Musraei HaShachrut, Ruach Chadasha, Shaarei Lashon HaKodesh, Bamot Ba׳al, Devarim Acherim, Shgionei Kohen, Zemirot Yisrael.
