Parts four and ve, Bamidbar and Devarim, Sudylkow, 1821. [1], 114, [1] leaves. e name of the book, name of the chumash and place of printing were printed in red ink. 21 cm.
Background: e edition before us is similar to the edition printed in Kopyst in 1810, and as Yudlov proved, the book was printed once but published in three editions, refer to: Y. Yudlov, Mikdash Melech M׳Et Rabbi Shalom Buzaglo, Kopyst V׳Sudylkow 1810-1821, Kiryat Sefer, 63, 1990-1991, pages 679- 682. Before us is the variant printed in Sudylkow with the year of printing. Refer also to C. Lieberman, Ohel Rach״l, 3, New York 1984, pages 489-504, the parts before us are listed there: Vayikra - no. 6, Bamidbar Devarim - number 8.
Condition: Fine. Aging stains. e two books are bound together in a simple binding.

Unique Features: Gloss by HaSadeh on page 81. Dedication and prayer in the handwriting of Rabbi Yitzchak Eliyahu Laniado on the rear side of the title page. e book was stamped with the stamp of “Yeshivat Magen David named after David So of ״.Katz
Background: Rabbi Chaim Shaul Dweck HaCohen (1857- 1933), immigrated to Israel from Aleppo in 1890, studied kab- balah and wrote Torah novellae. He was one of the heads of the Beit El kabbalistic yeshiva and the rosh yeshiva of the Rechovot HaNahar yeshiva in Jerusalem. Teacher of the kabbalists of Jerusalem.
Rabbi Yitzchak Eliyahu Laniado: (-1918) was born in Aleppo, taught Torah to many. Moved to New York in 1912 and from there to Buenos Aires. Author of the kabbalistic book VaYizra Yitzchak which was published in 1928 with approbations from Rabbi Chaim Shaul Dweck HaCohen and Rabbi Yom Tov Yedid HaLevi.
Condition: Moderate. Loose spine. Worming holes. e title page is cut at the top edge.
