רקע: מהדורה ראשונה של הספרים שנדפסו בחיי המחבר. המחבר היה מגדולי דורו, עם הסכמת רבי דוד אופנהיים, רבי אברהם ברודא ורבי בנימין פופרש, ובחלק על מסכת זבחים הסכמת רבי נפתלי כ״ץ ועוד. בשני השערים מודה המחבר לנדיבים שתרמו את הדפסת הספר.
מצב: בינוני-טוב. כתמי זמן ונקבי עש. קרע קל בשוליים הלבנים של שני הדפים האחרונים. כריכה בלויה.

Speci cations: [4], 96; [1], 35 leaves. 30 cm. Separate title page for novellae on tractate Chulin.
Background: First edition of the books which were printed during the author׳s lifetime. e author was one of the great rabbis of his generation, with approbations from Rabbi David Oppenheim, Rabbi Avraham Broda and Rabbi Binyamin Poppers, and an approbation from Rabbi Naftali Katz and others on the part on tractate Zevachim. e author thanks the donors who donated for the printing of the book in the two title pages.
Condition: Moderate- ne. Aging stains and worming holes. Slight tear in the white margins of the last two leaves. Worn binding.

משאר הספר. מאפיינים יחודיים: חיבור חשוב זה היה טמון ונעלם במשך מאות שנים, ונדפס לראשונה על פי כתב יד ישן נושן, על קלף שהיה בגנזי רבי עקיבא לעהרין מאמשטרדם, ולפני כן בגנזי ר׳ שאול ברלין בעל בשמים ראש, את כתב היד הוליכו באניה והאניה טבעה ובארח פלא כתב היד ניצל. מצב: טוב מאוד למעט השער של חלק שלישי שמנותק. כריכות חדשות.

Halachic responsa, explanations on the Talmud, responsa from the great early Ashkenazic scholars, by Rabbeinu Yizchak son of Moshe of Vienna, student of the RABIY״H and rabbi of the Maharam of Rothenburg. Parts one
and two were printed in Zhitomir, 1862. At the press of the brothers Rabbi Chanina Lipa and Rabbi Yehoshua Heschel Shapira, grandsons of the Slavuta Rabbi. Parts three and four in Jerusalem, [1887 - 1890].
Speci cations: Volume 1-4, [2], 5-232: [4], 184 pages. Volume 2-[4], 79, [1], 106, 72: [2], 79, [1] pages, 37 cm. Each part has a separate title page, with approbations from the gaons of Poland, Lithuania and Austria. Rulings of Bava Batra [volume 2] were printed on di erent paper from the rest of the book.
Unique Features: is important work was hidden and disap- peared for hundreds of years. It was printed for the rst time from very old handwriting, on parchment which was in Rabbi Akiva Lehren of Amsterdam׳s archives, and before that in the archives of Rabbi Shaul Berlin, author of Bsamim Rosh. e manuscript was sent by boat and the boat sunk, and the manu- script was miraculously saved.
Condition: Very ne except the title page of part three which is detached. New bindings.
