Speci cations: Metal stamp with a wooden handle. Diameter 3.5 cm, height 11 cm. A star of David is in the center of the stamp, ״surrounded by the words “Gross Rosen Concentration Camp in German.
Unique Features: e stamp is a historic relic from the labor and concentration camp established by the Nazis in Dolnośląskie, which was active between the years 1940-1945. Some 125,000 inmates passed through the camp, a third of whom died there and in the evacuation transports. e Jews were the largest group among the camp׳s inmates. ey were initially brought there from the KZ Sachsenhausen, Dachau and Buchenwald camps. Later, Jewish prisoners were brought from Poland, Hungary, Belgium, France, Greece, Yugoslavia, Slovakia and Italy. e camp׳s inmates were sent to forced labor in subhuman con- ditions in the granite quarries and factories which fed the war industry. e camp׳s structure included many dozens of sub- camps, many of whose inmates were evacuated to the death marches prior to the camp׳s liberation by the Soviet army.

חותם היודנראט ממחנה הריכוז והעבודה גרוס רוזן, שנות ה 40.
מפרט: חותם עשוי מתכת עם ידית עץ. קוטר 3.5 ס״מ, גובה 11 ס״מ. במרכז החותם מגן דוד, ומסביבו הכיתוב “מחנה ריכוז גרוס רוזן״ בגרמנית.
מאפיינים יחודיים: החותם מהווה שריד היסטורי ממחנה הריכוז והעבודה שהקימו הנאצים בשלזיה התחתית, שפעל בשנים 1940-1945. מספר האסירים שעברו דרך המחנה היה כ 125,000, וכשליש מהם נספו שם ובמשלוחי הפינוי. היהודים היו הקבוצה הגדולה ביותר מבין אסירי המחנה. הם הובאו בתחילה בעיקר ממחנות זקסנהאוזן, דכאו, בוכנוולד. בהמשך הובאו אסירים יהודים מפולין, הונגריה, בלגיה, צרפת, יוון, יוגוסלביה, סלובקיה ומאיטליה. אסירי המחנה נשלחו לעבודת כפיה בתנאים תת אנושיים במחצבות הגרניט ובמפעלים ששירתו את תעשיית המלחמה. מערך המחנה כלל עשרות רבות של תת-מחנות, שרבים מיושביהם פונו
לצעדות המוות לקראת שחרור המקום בידי הצבא הסובייטי. מצב: טוב מאוד.
