Content: Book for the study of astronomy, with an approbation in Hebrew from the rabbis of Constantinople. e book was printed without the author׳s name, but it seems from the appro- bation that the printer Nissim di Castro is the author. Among the leaves are 4 leaves with astronomical sketches.
Condition: Fine. Minimal aging stains. Loose leaves. Simple binding.

Content: Illustrated journal containing information, articles and feature articles on various topics such as: geography, religion, sci- ence, astronomy, history and more. Published by the Protestant mission. Printed in Rashi script. e journal was rst printed in 1855, and the printing was reinstated thirty years later for three years. Before us is the entire second year, with an added gilded title page and index leaf.
Unique Features: Rare. Not listed in Ya׳ari Kushta, the National Library only has a facsimile. Dozens of illustrations.
Condition: Very ne. Magni cent red semi-leather binding with gilded embossing.
