Speci cations: 82 leaves, 20 pages, 20 cm. Complete copy, includes the leaves in Latin which are not found in many copies.
Unique Features: Only edition. With astronomical diagrams. Ownership signatures of Meir [Zvi?] Horowitz are on the rear side of the title page, on pages 4 and 6, and a rabbinical owner- ship stamp is on page 7.
Background: e author Rabbi David Ganz [1541-1613] was a disciple of Rabbi Moshe Isserles - the Rema, and the Maharal of Prague, in contact with the greatest astronomers of his time, Kepler and Tycho Brahe. e book before us contains the rst description of Copernicus׳s approach in Hebrew. Astronomical diagrams throughout the book.
Condition: Fine. Aging stains. Very few worming holes. New binding.

Background: Includes comprehensive astronomical explana- tions of calculations of the calendar. With many charts, and with several diagrams of the cycle of the signs of the zodiac. Explanations about a tekufa and prayer for rain. Some of the book is in Yiddish. Refuot segulot and lechashim at the end of the book.
