תוכן: הזמנה מאת האדמו״ר מסדגורה להשתתף בישיבה מוקדמת של המועצה המרכזית של אגודת ישראל, לפני ישיבת הכנסיה הגדולה הרביעית. זוהי הכנסיה הגדולה שהתכנסה לראשונה בארץ ישראל, כפי
שהודפס בראש המכתב שלפנינו.
רקע: רבי אברהם יעקב מסדיגורה (השני) ה״אביר יעקב״ [תרמ״ד-תשכ״א, 1884-1960], מונה גם הוא לאדמו״ר אחר פטירת אביו. הקים ישיבה בסדיגורא, עם אחיו רבי שלמה חיים. עלה לארץ ישראל בשנת תרצ״ח [1938] והיה בין אדמו״ריה הבולטים של תל אביב. במשך שנים רבות נמנה בין חברי מועצת גדולי התורה של אגודת ישראל, ובמשך תקופה קצרה כיהן כנשיא המועצה. אחיינו, רבי מרדכי שלום יוסף פרידמן,
ה״כנסת מרדכי״, היה האדמו״ר לחסידות סדיגורא. מצב: טוב מאוד, סימני קיפול, חורי תיוק.

Content: Invitation from the Admor of Sadigura to participate in a preliminary meeting of the Central Council of Agudat Yisrael, before the meeting of the fourth Knessiah Gedolah. is was the rst Knessiah Gedolah to be convened in Israel, as is printed on the top of the letter before us.
Background: Rabbi Avraham Yaakov of Sadigura (the second), the ‘Abir Yaakov1884-1960] ׳], was also appointed as Admor following his father׳s passing. He established a yeshiva in Sadigura, together with his brother Rabbi Shlomo Chaim. He immigrated to Israel in 1938, and was one of the prominent Admors of Tel Aviv. He was a long-time member of the Moetzet Gedolei HaTorah of Agudat Yisrael, and served as its chairman for a short term. His nephew, Rabbi Mordechai Shalom Yosef Friedman, the“Knesset Mordechai,״ was the Admor of Sadigura.

מאפיינים יחודיים: בעמוד הראשון מופיעה הזמנה אישית מודפסת לנמען, עם שורה בכתב יד האדמו״ר ובחתימת ידו. בעמו׳ השני מופיע שיר שבתיו פותחים באקרוסטיכון שמות החתן והכלה והמילים “למזל טוב״, ואחריו
ישנה הזמנה הכוללת את כל פרטי שמחת הכלולות. מצב: מצב טוב מאוד.

Unique Features: Personal printed invitation to the addressee, with a line in the Admor׳s handwriting and with his handwritten signature on the rst page. Poem with verses that begin with an acrostic of the bride and groom׳s names and the words‘L׳Mazal Tov,׳ followed by a general invitation with all of the details of the wedding celebrations on the second page.
