Invitation to the wedding of the grandson of the “Imrei Chaim״ of Vizhnitz, containing a letter with the Admor's signature and a letter from the Rebbetzin. [Bnei Brak], 1967.
Speci cations: [2] leaves, paper. 16x22 cm. Letter from the Admor in Hebrew and from the Rebbetzin in Yiddish.
Background: e Admor Rabbi Chaim Meir Hager [1887- 1972] author of Imrei Chaim, born to his father, the Admor Rabbi Yisrael of Vizhnitz, and his right hand man in his life- time and successor after his death, restored and revitalized the Vizhnitz chassidut after the Holocaust. In 1947 he immigrated to Israel, re-established the Vizhnitz institutions and was the one of the heads of the Ultra-Orthodox leadership in the Holy Land.
Condition: Fine. Fold marks and tiny tears on the edge of the fold mark, stains.

רקע: האדמו״ר רבי חיים מאיר הגר [תרמ"ח-תשל"ב, 1887-1972] בעל "אמרי חיים", נולד לאביו האדמו"ר רבי ישראל מויז'ניץ, והיה יד ימינו בחייו, וישב על כסאו לאחר מותו, שיקם וקומם את חסידות ויזניץ לאחר השואה. בשנת תש"ז עלה ארצה, הקים מחדש את מוסדות ויז'ניץ והיה
מראשי הנהגת היהדות החרדית בארה״ק. מצב: טוב, סימני קיפול וקרעים זעירים בקצה סימן הקיפול, כתמים.
