STUDENT CHAPTER EVENTS
VITeach is a student-run social outreach club operating from
the VIT Chennai. VITeach was founded with the sole motive
of making a difference in the society, and we ordained upon
the field of education to pursue its activities. VITeach started
out in 2013 in partnership with Adi Dravida Welfare (ADW)
Middle School, Melakkottaiyur, and to this day, the school
has remained the club’s primary project.
Other notable projects undertaken during the year include
‘Angilam Express’, a spoken English and life building
scheme operating in the district of Thiruvannamalai, and a
project to build an algorithm for the Naik Foundation, a
nonprofit organization that delivers noon meals to schools
in Gujarat and Maharashtra.
