AUSTIN LIFECARE
All Saints first partnered with Austin LifeCare in 2009 after several members of our congregation became involved as volunteers. Currently, a number of All Saints members support LifeCare by donating their time and money to the life-affirming work of this organization. As a decade-long partner in local ministry, we were thrilled to witness all the Lord did through LifeCare this year. This past fall,
All Saints collected over 3,000 diapers for LifeCare’s diaper drive. LifeCare is in the process of opening Austin’s first free women’s clinic this summer.
SIDE BY SIDE KIDS
Side by Side Kids (SBSK) is a neighborhood recreational afterschool program that All Saints has partnered with since our church began. Recent years have seen the program expand from east Austin schools to nearby Oak Hill Elementary. Two All Saints members currently serve on the Board, and many others donate to support this ministry and its vital work in our city.
ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE (ESL) allsaintsaustin.org/esl All Saints ESL Ministry kicked off in August 2018 with 12 volunteer teachers at a weekend training. The program offers three levels for English learning: beginning, intermediate, and advanced. The program focuses on practical, everyday English development, from vocabulary for beginner students to conversation practice with advanced students. All Saints also pro- vides childcare where several adult and youth volunteers lead Bible stories, games, and crafts for the 10-20 children in attendance each week. Our goal is to demonstrate Gospel love to our students while providing them with practical English lessons. Many of our students are neigh- bors from the Wier Hills Road within walking distance of the church, and we hope they find our church a place to receive the love and comfort available to them in Christ.
