from the states. Vance did have to admit that Larry and The Band sounded
good and had a good repertoire of songs from bebop jazz to smooth jazz.
Vance and Larry had on their Canali suits and The Band coordinated their
pullover sweaters and trousers, shoes and matching belts with the color
scheme of Larry. They all looked sharp. After realizing what a couple of them
were planning to wear to the gig, he had remembered what Regina said to
him once. If you are going to own a Jazz Club one day, you have to dress the
part. It was the same thing Vance thought about Larry and The Band, they
had to be the message that they send, Jazz Cats, Vance thought. Vance had
decided after breakfast to dress out the rest of the guys in the Band with nice
Canali pullover sweaters and trousers with matching leather Canali shoes and
belts. When Vance, Larry and The Band arrived at the club they felt good and
looked good. Vance began to look for their contact at the club; he spotted
Francesca talking to a group of people.

As Vance began to approach the group, Francesca looked up and spotted
him. Hi Vance, you guys made it, let me introduce you to Giovanni, Francesca
said. Vance thought for Giovanni to have an Italian name he spoke English
well. Giovanni took Larry and The Band to get setup leaving Francesca and
Vance in the hallway alone. Vance asked her how did she like his suit she
smiled and said nice, it’s Canali, sweater Canali, shoes they both spoke and
said Canali in unison, and both began laughing. Yeah, Vance said I figured I
would go all Canali tonight. What about tomorrow night Francesca asked with
a slight smile, Canali, Vance said with a smile and they began laughing again.
So did you order your Brioni suit, no Vance said, I decided to wait until later
to do that, when Larry and The Band take off. But I did order me three pair of
