Last weeks match report

Last week we took to the road and headed to our furthest away
fixture to date at Saddleworth Rangers.

It was a lovely sunny day for rugby. We travelled with a full
compliment of 17 lads and due the large number of players
fielded by Saddleworth we were able to play two games, ensuring
all players got some good game time.

Both games were closely contested affairs, with a total of 16 tries
scored by Brook across the two games. With defences on top in
the opening exchanges it was clear to see that both sides had well
organised defensive lines and Saddleworths hard tackling tested
           the Brook boys in attack.

Brook certainly grew to the challenge, with both team captains,
Ethan Tucker & Lucas Waddilove leading by example, Dylan
Mather and Daniel Roberts making big inroads into the Rangers
defence. Sonny Clare made his return to the fray, with Zain
Matthews continuing to work hard after his return from injury a
few weeks ago. Jack Jameson, Harvey Whittle & Scott Brown
impressed with some elusive footwork backed up with tireless
           defence from Toby Edwards.

Try scorers for the day were Conal Parry notching up an
impressive five tries with Harry Davies & Aiden Kay adding to the
totals with hat tricks. Whilst John Bennet backed up from last
week with another brace of tries and the scoring was completed
with tries from Freddie Hewitt, Tyler Middlehurst & Tyler Pook.

Well done Brook, lets keeping improving…. #upthebrook
