Brook boys off the mark

The proud tradition of turning young
talent into stars of the future continued
last week as two of our own scored
their first tries for the mighty Saints
against Hull KR. Aaron Smith and Jack
Welsby were both given late call ups
into the squad to face Hull KR which
resulted in a 36—24 Saints Victory.
Welsby on just his 2nd appearance for
Saints grabbed his first ever try going
over in the corner after a lovely cut out
pass from Fages whilst Smith took his
chance on 62 minutes with a dash from
dummy half to cross over the white-
wash allowing Coote to add the extras.
Well done boys we cant wait to see
more brook lads turning out in the Red
Vee.

Making a difference in the
community

This week Blackbrook have partnered
with Co-op to introduce the Co-op
Food bank donation buckets to the
club.

We are proud to be paying our local
community back by putting one of the
Co-op foodbank bins into our club to
help families in times of need to en-
sure they have food.
