Festivities on USA
Halloween and Thanksgiving Day are two different festivities celebrated in USA.
These are famous around the world and some countries has adapted these two festivities on
their calendar. Halloween and Thanksgiving Day differ on food, decoration house and
tradition.

Each October 31 , American people celebrate the All Saint’s Day as well know
as Halloween. It came to American in the 1840’s. Since that all American people use to
prepare many products made of pumpkin, such as pie, cake, cream and so on. Moreover, the
decoration of some houses take an important role on Halloween. Some owner’s home usually
made lamps of pumpkin and then they set those outside in their gardens. Cats and spiders are
popular animals on Halloween. In addition, the tradition in Halloween is that some sales
keepers give sweets to the children.
On the other hand, Thanksgiving Day is celebrated each four of Thursday of
December. The traditional food for that day is turkey, pumpkin pie, ham, sweet potatoes,
cream and more. Also, most of American families give thanks for everything that they have.
People usually wear formal clothes in the Thanksgiving Day dinner.
In conclusion, festivities on USA differ on three important aspects such as food,
decoration house and tradition.
