STATEMENT OF PERSONAL LEARNING GOALS.

I chose “Carrera de Idiomas” because I think this is the best option for my professional

future. First, everybody knows that bilingual people have more opportunities to get a job.
Learning to speaking a foreign language is an advantage. Additionally, when I was at high

school, I had an excellent English Teacher, who I used to admire. She calls Patricia Guanopatín.

She had studied “Carrera de Idiomas”. She used to teach me English on a dynamic way. Those
classes used to be great. I really enjoyed her class. One day she advised me to study “Carrera

de Idiomas” and I had it as an option. After a time, I got the enough score on ENES exam to
study this program.

I have some reasons and expectation for taking this course of “Writing II”. First, I would

like to take advantage of my teacher’s knowledge respect to this subject to improve my English

writing skills. For example, I want to write about different topics using different writing styles
and intentions. Also, I would like to develop writing skills to transmit my ideas.

Regarding my expectation for taking this course. I consider I can do many things that

will contribute to reach the learning outcomes. The first and the most important thing is that I

will do is to check the syllabus, because it contains the learning outcomes. Second, I will try to
avoid skipping classes. Also, I will do all my homework and my classwork because it will

strengthen my knowledge. In addition, I will study for all my quizzes and I will read new books
to improve my writing.

As a conclusion, to reach my goals in Writing II, I am going to review my activities and I could
go to tutorial classes. I will pay attention every class of my writing professor. Finally I will be

responsible with my tasks. Finally, I could say that Writing II is an important course for my
future life as a teacher.
