Assistant Golf Professional

Job Summary

The Assistant Golf Professional will assist in the overseeing and managing of the entire
golf operation. The position will work cooperatively with the other departments to

maintain a cohesive working unit. Assist in supervising staff and scheduling. Training
and development of golf staff personnel. Maintain policies and procedures for operations.
Promote an exceptional “golf experience” and provide excellent services and programs
for the members and their guests.

Job Tasks (Duties)

1. Complete the requirements of the PGA Membership and maintain an active
classification in the PGA of America
2. Demonstrate loyalty and reliability to the Head Golf Professional and to
Ridgewood Country Club
3. Conduct oneself in a profession manner and maintain a professional image at all

times
4. Provide golf instruction and clinics that is consistent with instructional methods
and policies and procedures
5. Assist in managing the operational budget, including golf revenues and expenses
on a monthly and annual basis
6. Assist in training and supervision of all golf staff including outside assistant, play
coordinators, shop personnel, bag room staff and range staff

7. Assist in managing all golf services and operations
