18- Holer & 9-Holer Women’s Golf Groups

The women’s golf groups have both weekly tournaments and instructional clinics.
The 18-Holer group plays their tournament schedule on Tuesday of the calendar, while
the 9-Holer group plays on Wednesday. Each of these groups play over 24 weekly
tournaments with several major events mixed in. While one women’s group is on the golf
nd
course the other group of women is on the clinic tee receiving golf instruction. The 2
rd
and 3 Assistant Golf Professionals would be responsible for the tournament operations
for the women’s groups. Having the other assistants run the tournaments for the women,
allows the responsibility to be spread amongst the professional staff.

Weekly Women’s Clinics

All season long, both the 9 & 18 Holer groups have weekly instructional clinics.
From April to October a schedule of topics will be posted in the Ladies Locker Room, the
Golf Shop, and the website for information on sign ups. Some of the topics will include
physical screenings for the golfers, while others will include full swing and short game
analysis. Another key component will be addressing the mental side of the game, as well
as developing a pre-shot routine. Each clinic will run from 9:30-11:00 AM.
