~ RCC Caddie Responsibilities ~



                          Clean uniforms are required (white collard shirt) and shorts (Khaki only) with the
                   option of also wearing long khaki pants. Caddies will also be required to wear khaki
                   “Caddie hat” and brown shoes (offered through the golf shop at discount pricing).
                   Caddies are not allowed in the bag room (unless instructed otherwise), Golf Shop, or
                   patio area. They will wait in the caddy yard until their name is called for their loop.

                   Once you have been assigned a loop:

                       •  Introduce yourself to the golfers (always refer to the member or guest as Mr. or
                          Mrs.
                       •  Organize, count and clean all clubs in the bag
                                     st
                       •  Be on the 1  tee immediately after preceding group leaves the tee. Offer advice
                          only when it is asked for.
                       •  One caddie should forecaddie the other should take the clubs from the golfers
                          after their shots.
                       •  Closely watch their golfers shots. Take pride in never loosing a golf ball.
                       •  Stay ahead of golfers when walking to the next shot. They should never have to
                          wait for you.
                       •  Provide yardage to the center of the green and or the flagstick if asked.
                       •  Allow the golfer to pull the desired club from the golf bag then back up 5 yards to
                          allow the shot to take place.
                       •  Replace all divots and rake all bunkers.
                       •  Clean clubs after every shot.
                       •  Offer the putter if the ball has come to rest just short of the green.

                   Once on the green:

                       •  Offer to clean the golf ball once it has been marked.
                       •  Fix your players ball mark and any others you see while on the green.
                       •  Read your players putt when asked.
                       •  Never walk in any player’s line. Always stand where you will be out of the
                          player’s vision while putting.
                       •  Tend the flag if asked to. Stand to the side of the flagstick and hold the flag. Be
                          sure to not cast a shadow in the line of your players putt.
                       •  Hand the player their driver for the next hole or offer them a choice of club for the
                          next teeing ground.
