Project Exile - Rings Of Fire (2015 Raw Mix) [Theracords] - Zone Top Tune - 10/10
Theracords has been a firm favourite in my top 5 labels for many years as they always deliver quality releases time, and time again! Artists on the label have their own uniquenessmaking it a scene-leading brand. This is why they have selected Project Exile as one of their artists. This track “Rings of Fire” is a 2015 Raw Mix of a, 2014, previously released Hardstyle track featured, on the Theracords label. The new track is the B side to the new EP release called “I can be one truly nasty f#cker!”.
The track has had a Raw revamp, and I love it! It’s not full on Raw evil, like a lot of Rawstyle around these days, but it’s tough and packs power! With a massive Kick, that takes you along into a peaceful choir of angels signing, your mind will be overwhelmed until it drops and you’re taken on a journey of cleverly placed dub-step sounds and stabs, with a tight melody that keeps you wanting more! The Raw power of this track will have the dancer jumping through their own “Rings of Fire!”. An absolute must for those looking for a more unusual bite, or should I say burn, to their sets!

Anima - Never Never Land - (Mike Steventon & Side E-Fect Remix) [GT Digital] Zone Rating - 8/10
Just when I thought I wouldn’t hear the ionic speech from Train Spotting again, this bad boy lands in my inbox! It’s been done many times, within every genre, and I can honestly say I never get tired of hearing it. This time, however, I feel torn between the original and the remix as they both have amazing elements! 'Never Never Land' is driving right from the off, and uses brutal hard kicks to quickly progress the track into a tight sharp catchy synth arrangement. When the magical breakdown drops, you won’t be disappointed! It lays host to the ionic Train Spotting vocal that grabs your mind and takes it for a walk down memory lane, leaving you clinging for a desperate glimpse into the “Never, Never Land” of youth! Not only will this track leave you clinging to the dance floor, when the track drops you will be firmly hit with an array of fantastic, yet very effective melody, key changes which will make you realise that “the weekend has landed!”
The Plymouth based DJ's & producers Mike Steventon & Side-E-Fect are on remix duties of 'Never Never Land' and excelled big time with filthy tech dance, yet hard, edged remix.

Shaun Williams - Part Time Lover [Cosa NostraRecordings] - Zone Rating - 8/10
Shaun Williams drops his 3rd release “Part Time Lover” on the Cosa Nostra label, and he has destroyed the place with this bomb of a track! If you’re a fan of oldskool, hard house, vibes you’re going to love this release! A quirky vocal, with some nice stabs and drops, take you along to a breakdown that will stick in your head for hours! The melody is as catchy as a “Part Time Lover.” Something you don't need but can’t seem to shift! Something that rings, or sings, with familiarity but is distant enough to keep you keen and desperate for more! The track has been heavily supported by Digital Mafia up, and down, the UK and was also featured on a Cheeky Trax Album, as well ason the Digital Mafia Radio Show. This track will not only blow your socks off but will leave you humming a tune you can’t quite put your finger on when you least expect it! It’s quite simply addictive!
