‘I will be starting in September and holding a class once a week in the school‘, I told Penny.
‘That’s wonderful! I will hang a couple up in the bar – may even sell some‘, Penny said with enthusiasm.
‘I have a present for you – to thank you for all your help and friendship since coming here‘, I handed Penny a painting of the pub.
‘Oh Amber! It’s beautiful, please let me give you something for it’, an emotional Penny pleaded.
‘It’s a gift’, I insisted.
‘I also want to invite you to a wedding in Ireland, my friend Sherry is getting married in a couple of weeks. As you need a holiday,I though now that Paul is back you could take a week off and accompany me’.
‘Oh, Amber I’d love to‘, an excited Penny answered, ‘I have never been to Ireland’.
I spoke to Rex and he decided to meet with Mr. Stapleton in London promising to call when he arrived. Although Paul and Seki seem to be settling in, Seki is not used to working, when Paul met her she was in college, that is as much as I know to date. Rex and I have been dating for a few weeks. There has been a lot of kissing and cuddling. I know very soon it will become intense. Rex will want me to commit a little more, I want to, but I’M SCARED. I have not told him I love him even though I feel I do. I’m waiting for him to say it first. I will confide in Penny when were alone on our travels. I feel I have to talk to someone.
‘Have you finished your packing Rex? Amber will be here soon’. Penny put the last of her toiletries in her overnight case and left it by the door.
‘It’s very difficult to pack for all weathers’, Penny commented, to Rex laughing.
