Your best year so far?
This is a tough question because although we are currently in a pandemic world- wide, I can fairly say 2020 has definitely been the best year so far for me because my music has reached people in places that I never thought it would. To say I am humbled and appreciative is an understatement. My main goal is making music is to help people heal from whatever ails them. I know allot of people are suffering right now, so this whole pandemic has been life affirming in this respect.
How do you see last decade from
your perspective as a DJ &
producer?
I see electronic music, and in particular club music as pushing more musical boundaries and incorporating more musical genres but staying true to its original cause which is to give people an escape from modern day life. This is so relevant today in this time of pandemic. The past decade has taught me that
matter how busy. It helps us smell the
roses. It makes me feel good that our music is there for people when the times are tough, and people need an outlet. It’s been a tough decade in allot of respects, but the music is and has been there for us to get us through it.
How would you describe your sound?
Warm and inviting, with deep and dark moments.
What music did you like growing up?
Underground Hip hop and break-dance. music.
Can you remember the first dance track you liked?
I have always liked dance music, so isolating one track would be tough. I fell in love with music made with synthesizers ever since my music teacher in grade school brought his synth over and showed all of my classmates how to use it.
