Ren Ascutt - Sin City E.P [Mechanikal]
Ren Ascutt joins Mechanikal and what an E.P we have here. First off we have the huge Sin City track, with some dark atmospheric sounds. The track is a great blend of finely crafted stabs and driving percussion combining a really driving, yet hypnotic arpeggio. Next up is Caos which is a bit more industrial sounding with robotic synthlines and a throbbing bass. Last up is Burning All which is an absolute masterpiece. Full of pounding kicks amalgamating with enormous grooves and expertly fused percussion. Definitely one to check out! https://mechanikal.bandcamp.com/album/ren-accutt-sin-city-e-p-mech021

Various Artists - The Sound Of Filth Pt.1 [Filth Infatuated Digital]
Here we are presented with an eclectic set of tracks, ranging from Acid Techno, right through to some nice Hard Industrial sounds. The release includes not 5, not 10, but 20 tracks of unadulterated filth just as the name suggests. What I love about this album is the range and diversity on offer from beginning to end. From the exceptional crisp percussion of Newks - Choke, the hard hitting monster that is Gary The Apprentice - Illusions of Reality. To the twisted sounds of Jim E Scavenger - System Failure and the atmosphere of DOWDZWELL - Broken. These are definitely the tracks that stand out for me here. All in all a great collection, definitely not for the faint of heart!

JIMMYZKINZ & Arkatek - Interconnect [Dead Groovy Music]
Underground producers JIMMYZKINZ and Arkatek bring forth an expertly crafted piece of modern Techno. This track is amazing from beginning to end with some really brooding beats, deep stabs and a solid drive. It breaks down with some really nice fx, great pads and synthwork it then drops to a nice pumping growling bass, accompanied by a nice gated choir that flows amazingly. Re-1st - Half A Pack Of Cigarettes [Loverloud]
Another track from Italian label Loverloud. These guys are really pushing themselves recently and it is great to see. This track is a nice party number from Re-1st starting out with some massive screaming screech action and reversed bass. This is then swiftly followed by a nice quirky melody and some big saws. Which builds to some big distorted kick action. Loverloud is on a course for non-stop action and I can't wait to hear the next addition to this fantastic label.

Hatom - Nymphomaniac [Spoontech]
Hatom is one of the new guys on the Spoontech label, but he sure does deliver here with this Rawstyle smash. The track begins with a stark pluck and a tough kick, which suddenly takes you on a whole new venture. The break combines some brilliantly subtle fx and choppy leads leading to a distorted bombardment of kicks and deep screech action. I will definitely be keeping my eye on this artist in the future.
