Judgment Enforcement – The Step-by-Step Course
Should You Record the Satisfaction of Judgment with the County Recorder?
Again, the answer is yes, absolutely, if you previously recorded a lien in that county.
When you record the Satisfaction of Judgment, it releases the lien you placed on the
                    debtor’s real property.
                                       NOTE!
I’ll say it again. The Satisfaction of Judgment must be recorded in
every county where you recorded a lien. It doesn’t matter that the
debtor has no real property there. You have to record it anyway.
