Step 14: Getting Court Forms

For most states, court forms for your enforcement actions (levies,

garnishments, etc.) are already available online for you online.

In some instances (New York) they are at the court house, or you can
buy them on line for $12 or so. And you can reuse them over and over,
so it’s only a one-time cost.

One thing that JE’s have found helpful is PDF converters. Some are free, online. I use
SmallPDF at https://smallpdf.com . It’s free. (Free is good.)

Then, you can save a template in word for each form with your name, address and so
on, already on it, and just pull it up on your computer when you have to do a levy,
garnishment, or whatever.

And, your personalized forms are easily integrated into your Judgment Enforcement
Management software. (see above.)

Whatever you do, make your business as easy to run as possible! There’s enough
hassle and frustration just having any business. Make the rest of it smooth and easy. Don’t
scrimp for a few dollars that will cost you hours or more over time. You will thank
yourself over and over.

Finally: A successful business is a success because of knowledge and
efficiency. Setting up your business correctly will bring efficiency to your
operations and it will reduce frustrations. Knowing how to enforce the
judgments will bring you the income you desire.
