Let’s talk about the courthouse first. It’s easy to locate the courthouse nearest to you.
You can Google it by typing in “county courthouse” + “your county’s name + your state.”

Sometimes they are called “Municipal Courts” or “District Courts” or “Superior Courts,”
or even “Supreme Courts.” Look for a courthouse that handles small claims cases, because
small claims court is a great place to learn.
