✓ located a judgment WHICH IS BEST?
✓ investigated the JD for assets or the strong likelihood
of assets
✓ and it looks like it’s probably a good judgment.
Now it’s time to contact the creditor. I sometimes contact them by mail, but I prefer to
contact them by phone. But how do I find him her or?
How to Locate the Plaintiff-Creditor:
Sometimes the creditor’s name and address are listed right there on the judgment itself, or
on the database info about the judgment. Sometimes it’s not. If your judgment is an old
one, the creditor may have moved.
Using one of your professional databases, simply locate where the creditor is now. You’ll
very likely get an address, and probably a phone.
