In the past years I had attempted to
get my GED. A s a single mother of two
it was hard to attend classes because I
worked 2 and sometimes 3 jobs just to
keep a roof over my family?s heads. It
has always been my goal to get my high
school diploma or GED. 24 years later I
knew it was time. One, I have more
time and two, I have a lot of support.
M y main goal is to work in the medical
field. I called around and found out
        about different schools that were
DEA C approved. I called Citizens?
High School and left a message. I was
called back within a day. Liz answered
all of the questions that I had and she
was very supportive from beginning to end. The program itself is very affordable. I
had 6 courses that I needed to get my high school diploma. I?m proud to say that I
completed them within 7 weeks! ???? I set my mind to get it done and I did it! I
finally reached my goal and now I?m so proud of having my high school diploma.
M y daughters are proud of me which brings happiness to my heart.

M y experience with CHS was amazing. The staff encouraged me to reach my
goals and told me I could work at my own pace. It was all up to me on how long I
wanted to spend doing the book work. I completed my studies while dealing with
my job, 2 daughters and 4 grandkids. So as you can see, it was pretty crazy, but
        definitely do-able!

I would recommend CHS because it?s a great program for what you want to
accomplish, at your own pace. The staff is friendly and will answer any questions
you have. They grade your exams in a timely manner and they encourage you to
succeed, which meant a lot to me. I personally met with the Principal of the school,
Dr. James P. Etter. He?s working at changing things to make the school even better
than before! He made me feel that he really wants everyone to succeed and fulfill
their goals. Getting my High School Diploma was definitely one of the best thing
that I could have ever done in my life. I can proudly say, that now, at the age of 44,
I?ve decided to broaden my horizons and enroll in college. The sky is the limit!
