Department follows Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) and Outcome Based Education (OBE) in all academic
programs. The students are provided with comprehensive practical and theoretical exposures to these courses.
Students are given exposure to research at the UG and PG level by introducing projects in the form of
self/problem-based learning (PBL). The students at their UG/PG level are also being prepared for National level
entrance exams like JAM, NET/GATE. In order to expose the students to modern day technology, department has
procured some high-end instruments which are part of the Central Analytical Facilities at MUJ and are being
given training on these instruments. Through the postgraduate and PhD programs, students are provided with
the opportunity to pursue an independent research project in an area of their interest under the supervision of a
faculty in the department. This is likely to enhance student’s employability across a broad range of careers.
