Attorneys in our Fashion Apparel and Beauty (FAB) Group continue to provide legal services to many famous brands, including Chanel, Donna Karan, Louis Vuitton, Shiseido, Marc Jacobs, Levi’s, Gymboree, Kate Spade, H&M, BCBG Max Azria, and Givenchy. Our work includes intellectual property, licensing, and transactional counsel on a variety of projects as well as drafting of privacy policies, licensing documents, terms and conditions, commercial co-venture agreements, sweepstakes and game rules, commercial terms, and software and technology agreements. We also work with talent for fashion, including individual designers and celebrities.
• Represented Chelsea Football Club (English Premier League) and its digital business, Chelsea Digital Ventures, in connection with the launch of Perfect Play. Perfect Play is a mobile-friendly coaching platform that uses artificial intelligence (AI) and augmented reality (AR) to deliver the expertise of Chelsea FC youth academy coaches to young footballers around the world.
GUILD AND UNION NEGOTIATIONS
Our labor attorneys continue to serve our clients in connection with labor law matters, including residuals, credits disputes, union organizing, labor arbitration, civil litigation, collective bargaining and practice before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). In 2020, our attorneys also handled many COVID-related issues, including force majeure suspensions, COVID protocols, and production pauses and shutdowns caused by the pandemic.
