The number of websites is virtually endless. Take the time to run your own name on
several sites provided here and you’d be amazed at how available your own identity is to
others. Anyone with an email account can be traced. Some sites such as Spokeo.com will
list your address, give you a picture of your home and your neighbors’, and even list your
recent online purchases and music playlists. Nothing is private if you have an email
address.

The following websites can help you find debtors you may be skip-tracing. It is suggested
that you contact your local government in order to identify available websites in the city,
county or state(s) you service. Suggested sites include the Division of Motor Vehicles,
corporations, property appraiser and other public records online. Although you may get
some basic information, some sites charge a fee.

Social networking sites such as Facebook and Myspace can provide great insight on
skips, and also are great tools when you are looking to hire someone. You can view and
individual’s list of friends and can often find relatives.

The key to your search is to be thorough and methodical. Keep a complete record of
where you search and the results. And don’t forget, sometimes the easiest way is the
simplest, i.e., call directory assistance!
