 Properties of Solids
         Solids:
1. Have a definite volume (how much space they take
up): This means that the volume won’t change with
time or position.
2. Have a definite shape: This means that the shape
won’t change with time or position.
3. Are the most dense.
4. Vibrate without changing position.
5. Have the least ENTROPY (randomness).
6. Have a CRYSTALLINE STRUCTURE: Solids are made
up of crystals set up in a regular geometric pattern.
Solid: Molecules are close together and in a regular geometric pattern.
