 Exothermic Reaction Diagram
  In an exothermic reaction, the reactant releases energy. Therefore, you will notice that the reactant has a higher potential energy than the products. This diagram shows us many factors:
The potential energy of the reactants and the products: This is shown on the table as a bold line. 1. The activation energy (the minimum amount of
energy needed to start a reaction): Any number
above the potential energy of the reactant is the activation energy. 2. The activation complex: the highest point on the graph
3. ∆H: Heat of product minus heat of reactant (See next card.)
