Average Atomic Mass Formula
Formula to find the average atomic mass:
(% × Mass) + (% × Mass)
Formula Key:
• %: The percentage of the time the element is
at a certain mass.
• To use this formula, you will have to remove the percent
sign and move the decimal point two places to the left.
80% will be changed to 0.80
• Mass: the atomic mass number
