POWER

As the pandemic continues, we are forced to face the reality of our
society's many inequities and the intersections among them. From
sexism and misogynoir to racism and transphobia, the manifesta-
tion of power imbalance is undeniable. For example, Twirl explores
harassment and the sexual power dynamics in the workplace be-
tween men and women. But people are fighting back through pro-
tests, conversations, social media, theatre, voting, and everything
in between. We invited artists of all backgrounds to submit art that
embodies the theme of power.
